Olivia Ivanson

Olivia is one of approximately 400 dually certified board certified behavior analysts and speech-language pathologists in the world! She has significant experience working with children with feeding and swallowing difficulties and those with craniofacial anomalies. Olivia is extremely passionate about combining the sciences of ABA and speech-language pathology to identify and develop functional, effective communication for children with complex communication needs.

Olivia has co-authored research published in Perspectives on Augmentative and Alternative Communication and has presented at numerous conferences regarding alternative augmentative communication. She has completed the Basic SOS Approach to Feeding training, which emphasizes posture, sensory, motor, behavioral/learning, medical, and nutritional factors when treating children with complex feeding needs. Olivia also completed training in the Behavioral InTEgrated with Speech (BITES) Approach to Feeding Therapy, which combines expertise from speech-language pathology and behavior analysis to address oral motor skill deficits and problematic mealtime behaviors. 

In her free time, Olivia loves spending time with her family and starting new Pinterest projects.
