Alysia Fuhrmann

Alysia, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, has been in the field of ABA for 14 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Cincinnati and her Master of Science in counseling with a concentration in applied behavior analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Alysia has served as an adjunct instructor at Ball State University and provided supervision to several aspiring behavior analysts. She is a member of the Hoosier Association for Behavior Analysis (HABA) and has presented at numerous local and national conferences.

Alysia’s passion for ABA started in college, while working as a therapist for a teenager with autism. Seeing how much he was able to learn—and how the quality of life for him and his family drastically improved in the time that he was receiving ABA therapy—was enough for her to devote her life to the science.

Alysia also loves coffee, crossword puzzles, and naps! Time to enjoy all of these – especially naps – is in short supply, though, with three little ones at home, a son and identical twin daughters!
